Mika Feinberg has been designing and producing groundbreaking, commercially successful entertainment and application software for over two decades. In 1986, he began with video game giant Activision, in Mountainview, CA. During his stint there he was Associate Producer of Shanghai for Commodore 64, Apple II, MS-DOS, and Macintosh platforms. Shanghai is one of the most successful computer games in history, selling tens of millions of units world-wide, and is still an Activision evergreen title. In 1989, as producer for video game publisher Spectrum HoloByte in Alameda, CA , he produced the renowned computer game Tetris, which was the first commercial game ever published in color on the Apple Macintosh computer (The Mac II. Before that time, Macs only came with B/W displays). Tetris, with the help of the Nintendo Game Boy, then went on to become the largest selling interactive game of all-time - and the highest grossing entertainment product of any kind (larger even, than the movie, The Titanic). Tetris in innumerable versions and variations, can still be found almost everywhere electronic games are played, even on cell phones. In 1990, Mika designed and produced Ishido: The Way of Stones, published by video game publisher Accolade, Cupertino, CA. Ishido was the highest consumer-rated game in Accolade's history, gained entry into MacWorld Magazine's 'Game Hall of Fame', and won GamePlayers Magazine Best PC Strategy Game Award in 1991. Mika designed and produced Heaven & Earth, the first-ever 256-color game for the IBM PC platform published by Walt Disney Computer Software, Burbank, CA, in 1993. (Before that time, PC displays were limited to just 16 colors.) In 1994, Mika designed and produced Endorfun, published by Time Warner Interactive, Burbank, CA. Endorfun was an enormously innovative and controversial game, due to it’s hypnotic graphics, African groove spirit music soundtrack, and use of positive and uplifting subliminal messages...all leading to a "15 minutes of fame" moment, during which he was interviewed and appeared on Good Morning America with Bryant Gumbel, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, Computer Currents on PBS, CNN, and many local outlets; as well as in front page stories in the Sunday Los Angeles Times and The Sunday Times of London, and features in The National Enquirer and the New York Post. Through it all, Endorfun received wide critical acclaim: - Wired Magazine: "The best extracurricular activity since the Koosh Ball." In 1998, Mika relocated to Kaua’i, Hawaii and founded CodeName: MANA, LLC. CNM's first product was Evolution Interface, an entire virtual environment for Windows computers that enabled the user to fully personalize their desktop interface and minimize the 'intrusion' of the Microsoft frequencies. CNM focused on using the digital realm to provide visceral transformative experiences based on Sacred Geometry and sacred symbols. In 2003, CNM and The Monroe Institute (Lovingston, VA), began what has become an ongoing and enduring collaborative relationship, combining TMI's Hemi-Sync® technology and CNM's proprietary StarLight Animation technology, resulting in the LightSOURCE series of products. In 2005, LightSOURCE - A Sacred Geometry Experience won The Coalition of Visionary Resources Multimedia Product of the Year Award; and Sacred Gaiametry - The Magic of Crop Circles, was winner of the 2007 COVR Multimedia Product of the Year Award. Mika and CodeName: Mana, in collaboration with The Monroe Institue, continue producing and publishing an award-winning lineup of LightSOURCE products, including: In 2008, CNM and Monroe Products published, LightSOURCE 2nd Edition DVD and CD-ROM, which makes use of the latest high definition StarLight Animation technology. As well, in a return to application software design, Mika is currently Creative Director of Omediae, LLC, with headquarters in San Francisco, CA. In the Fall of 2008, Omediae is set to launch a groundbreaking, patent-pending system designed by Mika, that will dramatically alter the face of digital entertainment and media.
