Solid Hawaiian Mango Wood
Framed Prints

We know a local company that produces these rare and exotic Hawaiian mango wood picture frames. Mango wood comes from the same trees that produce the tropical fruit. Mango wood has long been used for making calabashes and furniture, but it's a slow-growing wood so it's not harvested often. When a mango tree reaches 20 to 30 years of age the fruits are no longer suitable for commercial use. It is these older trees that are harvested, and then replaced with young trees in a process that sustains the mango groves.

These frames are made of solid wood, and have a distinctive and very lovely grain. They are a light color, akin to oak. But you aren't likely to find mango wood picture frames in your local framing store. They’re so beautiful we couldn’t resist offering to frame our 16” x 20” prints in them for you. Frames are 1" wide, and our solid Hawaiian mango wood framed prints come finished with glass, hooks, and hanging wire.
